Rarely, if ever, will you find lamps discussed at the beginning of Home D cor. Normally lamps come to mind after everything else is in place. When the room looks dark and dank even your new furniture doesn t shine. New lamps can change that, but first you need to decide how the lamp will be used.
Will the lamp be an important feature in back of a chair where reading takes place? Will the use of the lamp be used to subtly shine the light across the floor so no one will stumble? Will the lamp be the center of the room, or off in a corner?
